28 January 2011 - T-Systems, the IT services division of German telecommunications company Deutsche Telekom (ETR:DTK) is about to appoint a new head of its sales and marketing department, daily Financial Times Deutschland (FTD) reported on Thursday without naming its sources.
According to the daily, the position will be taken by Dietmar Wendt, who is currently CEO at IT consulting company Spirit/21.
A spokesman for T-Systems declined to comment, FTD said.
Wendt will have a difficult task as T-Systems landed orders for outsourcing projects with a volume of more than EUR100m (USD136.97m) in the last two years, but faced problems with the implementation of some of them, the daily noted.
