DUBLIN — Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/264575/ranking_of_indian) has announced the addition of the “Ranking of Indian Internet Companies 2010″ report to their offering.

Informative ranking of companies that dominate the Indian online market

Despite its growth, the Indian online market has not yet caught up with the major Asian markets. This and other findings are presented in the comprehensive report Ranking of Indian Internet Companies 2010 published by Hamburg-based market research firm yStats.com: In India the number of internet users grew in 2009 by double-digits, however only 5% of all internet users shopped online by mid 2009. Indian B2C e-commerce grew from 2008 to 2009 by 30%, but this trend could be curbed by the low broadband penetration in India. Furthermore, in 2009 online revenue in India amounted to 2,100 US dollars/customer and remained below the Pacific-Asian average of 2,500 US dollars/customer.
