POMPANO BEACH, Fla. — Working journalists get another opportunity to relay their experience from the effects of the Web 2.0 revolution, including how it alters the way they report, gather information and interact with communications professionals. The Journalist Survey on Media Relations Practices study was initially conducted in 2007 by Bulldog Reporter and TEKgroup International, Inc. A summary was created to gauge the results and determine the latest use of Web 2.0 tools, pitching pet peeves and other trends.

“We’re excited to continue this research project with Bulldog Reporter,” stated Ibrey Woodall, Director of Marketing for TEKgroup International, Inc. “It helps expand the knowledge we steer with the annual TEKgroup Online Newsroom Survey, and continues the work Bulldog has done to help create more productive exchange between journalists and PR professionals.”

As an incentive, all participants are entered into a drawing for a new 32GB Apple Touch iPod valued at $499. The survey ends Tuesday, September 23, 2008 when a drawing will be held to determine the winner of the iPod.

The survey can be found at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=0utVYjRhOCF_2bA7coV4WxqQ_3d_3d. Results of the survey will be released in October.
